Ponte Vedra Inn and Club is my home and the best place to work in the area. I began my career at Ponte Vedra Inn and Club 46 years ago, working as a dining room attendant then became a server. I am so fortunate to have met many amazing people along my journey who have become my extended family. I am the person I am today partly because of the industry and Ponte Vedra Inn and Club family.

Following my senior year at FSU at the Dedman School of Hospitality, I knew that working for Gate Hospitality Group would be the best place to start my career. In the last 8.5 years, I have worked at the Front Desk, Banquets team and now have recently been promoted to Catering Coordinator at The Lodge & Club. Alex Schuster

Recruiting Manager

I was with Ritz Carlton for 10 years before finding Gate Hospitality. Five years ago, I started as the Gourmet Shop and Room Service Manager before being promoted to Director of Restaurants. Our family was growing and I needed a change with availability. Gate Hospitality gave me the opportunity to join the Human Resource team which has provided the schedule that fits best with my family. I always had a passion for Human Resources but this sparked a new passion and career for me. I am truly thankful for my work family and the opportunities for growth and development.

Ryan Lahey

Director of Membership

I've had the privilege of being a Membership Director for Gate Hospitality for 4 years. While it's clear GATE is committed to extending significant resources to ensure we have the best in amenities, products and services, their priority remains investing in the development of people and creating great working environments. There are many variables that sustain my motivation to succeed, but none more important than the leadership I benefit from each and every day. My leadership team sets definitive expectations, but I appreciate their predictability, inclusiveness and unwavering support. I am proud to be part of a team that recognizes the necessity of operating as one.
